Why your recent loan may have been unsuccessful or declined

While we cannot disclose the full information on how we carried out the assessment to finalise this decision, there are several possible reasons why we couldn’t offer you a rate at this time, such as:

  • Your ability to meet the required monthly payments of a quote based on our assessment of your income, expenses and debts.

  • Previous failures to meet financial commitments

  • Inconsistencies between information provided and that retrieved during the quote process.

  • Employment Security.

  • Suitability and affordability.

  • Failure to meet Harmoney's credit criteria.

  • Credit history issues including prior defaults or insolvencies.

You might not be creditworthy right now, but don’t worry, your creditworthiness can change over time, just because you’re not eligible now doesn’t mean you won’t be eligible in the future.
