Credit checks and how they help us to assess your creditworthiness

As a responsible lender we need to assess your creditworthiness. Part of this assessment is your credit score or rating.

Once your creditworthiness has been established and verified, we can give you an accurate and personalised rate.

Potential borrowers can get a quote of their loan amount and interest rate before taking out a loan. We do this by making a quotation enquiry on your credit file, which does not impact your credit rating. A credit check, which may impact your credit score, will only be made if you progress from a quote to a loan.
