No. If your direct debit payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, your account will be debited on the next business day and will not incur any late fee. 

If your direct debit payment date does fall on a holiday or weekend, it’s a good idea to check your balance before the next business day to make sure you have sufficient funds in your account.
